The "Raul Borges"
Trio represents a tradition that goes back several decades to its creation
in 1945. Founded by Antonio Lauro, Flaminia de De Sola and Manual Enrique
Pérez Díaz, three Venezuelan guitar masters united by a common artistic
filiations, they form this prestigious group that takes the name to honor
the memory of a great musician, "Raul Borges", founder of the
Venezuelan School of Classic Guitar (1932) and whose personality is the
starting point for the present generation of Venezuelan guitarists. |
