Biography

 

Marcos Carrasco

Marcos Carrasco studied guitar with Gonzalo Micó from 1996 to 2001, took advanced courses of Music at The ARS-NOVA school of Music, and attended The Jazz Workshops of the JOSE REYNA CONSERVATORY.
He also took classes with  Gerry Weil, Julio Mendoza, Julio Sanchez and Alvaro Falcón, and attended Master Lectures from Paulo Bellinaty, Tuck Andrews & Billy Sheehan.

Marcos has played with musicians such as: Gonzalo Micó, Michael Berti, Marcus Vinicius Da Fonseca, Junior Romero, Carlos Sanoja, Gerardo Chacón, Carlos Rojas, Cristóbal Pitalúa and Heriberto Rojas among others.
Recently he participated in the FESTIVAL DE JAZZ DEL HATILLO. 
The album JAZZ STANDARDS is his first commercial album, although he previously recorded a promotional record called JAZZ TRIO with Giovanni Ramirez and Willy Díaz.
